A swimming pool heater is the most expensive piece of equipment on an equipment pad, according to this post from Swimming Pool Steve.  What is surprising is that most swimming pool owners don't take any steps to protect their heaters from damage due to water chemistry, improper bonding, and lack of proper maintenance.  Wouldn't it be great if there was a checklist for the swimming pool owner to follow in order to protect thsi pricey investment?  Well, look no further:
