Why Swimming is my Exercise of Choice
During the long winter months, especially in colder climates, people tend to procrastiate with their workouts. It's hard to motivate to get to the gym, and even harder when the sun goes down prior to the end of the work day, and doesn't come up in the morning when you would otherwise want to exercise. Not to mention that going out in frigid temperatures is an additional deterrent to getting to the gym. Those that are able to find a place to workout, and have the drive and motivation to do so, want the most efficient means of utilizing their exercise time, so as to maximize the time spent working out. Swimming is the most efficient way to get a full body aerobic and anaerobic workout, and this post gives some great reasons why.
