This project, which was featured on the television show “Epic Pools” on Destination America, has myriad features for the entire family. Conflating the husband’s desire for a lagoon style pool environment and the wife’s proclivity for the traditional look, this project brings together a freeform pool, raised oval spa, and rustic grotto with dual-flumed stained concrete water slides. A Solid Limestone bridge connects the two disparate worlds, and also delineates the recreation areas of the pool. Custom color-blended glass tile is prominent around the perimeter and on both the positive and negative sides of the hot tub. Over 1,100 square feet of Vintage Ivory colored Travertine adorns the expansive decking and patio areas. Fon du Lac outcropping retaining walls and Granite boulders form the cave and grotto feature. Fire bowls are prominently featured in the landscape, and fire features emanate from the boulders in the grotto.
