Let’s face it:  We have all been told that we need to take nude showers prior to entering any swimming pool.  Even as children, we were probably instructed in the proper ways to do so; likely at summer camp or the local YMCA swimming pool.  How many adults or children actually do so?  The statistics and the results of these actions are likely to alarm you.  Additionally, there are several other steps that you can take to keep the swimming pool safe for you, and your children.  For example, even though the majority of adults and children actually pee in the swimming pool, it has been clinically shown that the chloramines that are formed from the chemical reaction between chlorine and urea in urine can actually exacerbate or even cause asthma and other lung disorders in some instances.
