Massive + Pool in East River Could Swim with Proper Funding
The + Pool project in New York’s east river takes eco friendly swimming pools to a whole new level. This floating apparatus includes 4 swimming pools combined into a “+”, providing full length Olympic-sized swimming pools. The apparatus also fills itself from the water in the polluted East River of New York, and filters the water to make it perfectly suited for swimming. Utilizing the popular Crowfunding method, the designers are able to get the project off of the ground by making a test pool prior to receiving the final funding for the project.
