So you have decided that you want an inground swimming pool. Are you sure that you can fit one in your yard? This question may seem like a no-brainer, but there are myriad issues that can arise when looking at putting something permanent into the ground. Most people don’t realize that property lines, property setbacks, easements, encroachments, lot coverage, utilities, etc. can affect not only where one can place a pool and pool house, deck, water feature; but also whether the municipality will even allow such a project due to the aforementioned issues.
