THE PERFECT 2013 POOL PARTY AND BEACH PLAYLIST FOR SUMMER

So you’ve got the food ready to go, you’ve got the tables set up, you have your favorite pool toys, beverages, and a whole bunch of family and friends coming over to party by the pool.  What are you going to do to keep them entertained?  Hire a DJ, or a band?  Probably not.  Alden Wicker from Eco Cult has compiled a list of 179 tracks to perfectly complement your pool party.  The tracks include classic rock, 80’s rock tracks, a few nostalgic 90s songs and old school hip-hop interspersed with 2011 and 2012 mashups, before dropping into current indie hits, then fading into some beachy chillwave right around dusk before jumping into disco house and–around when everyone is ten beers deep–into cheesy pop hits that everyone loves to sing along to, before finally ending in excellent and exuberant dance music.
