If an inground swimming pool is one of life’s great luxuries, then the indoor pool (especially for climates that have harsh winters) is the penultimate luxury.  Indoor pools allow the owner to splash and swim 365 days a year.  This post from Houzz presents some smaller indoor pools from around the world, and illustrates how this amazing amenity can be incorporated into any home.

The lights in the wood ceiling accentuate the linear proportion of the pool. From this vantage we can glimpse the hallway to the right of the plaster wall that provides access to the changing rooms, a small kitchen area and a Japanese bath house. The infinity edge pool meets the limestone flooring beyond the teak deck.
