How Much Do Inground Pools Cost?

From River Pools

Everyone who contemplates installing an inground swimming pool, regardless of type, wants to know the answer to this question.  The folks at River Pools and Spas present the answer by discussing the various types of inground swimming pools, what to expect in terms of initial and ongoig costs, and which ones they think are the best.   Being a fiberglass builder, River Pools slants towards that product, but we feel that this is a good initial comparison to see what is available, and which product best suits the individual customer.

The initial purchase price of the pool

Fiberglass Pools: Initial Cost

At River Pools, we offer four distinct types of fiberglass pool packages. They are self-installation, assisted installation, basic installation, and turn-key installation. Let’s take a look at each to learn more.

Fiberglass Pool Self-Installations

A self-installation package would include the pool shell and delivery of the pool to the home, then the client takes it from there.

The obvious advantage of installing your own fiberglass pool is the cost savings. On average most people will save between $6,000 and $10,000 depending on the scope of the project and who does the majority of the work.
