Because the elevation of the finished pool was slated to be above the existing grade for a large portion of the pool, most of the structure of the swimming pool had to be framed in plywood.
The framing was installed, allowing our crews to install the shotcrete swimming pool structure properly.
Specialists were brought in to create artifical rock structures for a very large waterfall and grotto structure. The homeowner wanted to have the ability to jump off of the rock structure, and this structure accomplished this task.
The cascading waterfall provides noise, ans well as a shelter for swimmers inside the grotto.
Tucked inside the rock structure is a 8’0″ diving board, for those swimmers looking for a more traditional means of springing into the pool.
Wrapped around the rock structure and waterfall is a 60 foot custom slide.
This is what the slide looked like as it was being installed. Concrete piers were installed to support the massive structure, and the slide was brought in and bolted together.
A view from near the top of the slide gives a perspective on the height at which the ride begins.
For those looking for a more peaceful form of recreation, this pool features a lazy river that flows around a sunken island, complete with fire pit.
The brige that connects the decking area to the island provides an easy means of accessing the island without getting wet.
Kids can enter the pool via the 300 square foot zero depth sunshelf. This area is also ideal for sunbathing adults. The sunshelf is equipped with agitator jets to keep dirt moving and off of the shelf.
When one is done floating around the lazy river and is in need of a warm-up, the 125 square foot raised hydrotherapy pool provides an invigorating respite.
A 50-foot infinity edge provides the crisp, modern detail that every residential waterpark needs.
This is no ordinary swimming pool equipment pad. This pump room houses three heaters, three filters, seven pumps, commercial UV system, mineral sanitizer, three chlorinators, and a control center.
The LED lights change colors, providing a dramatic setting during the evening hours.
